Hosting, domains, and site management — without the maintenance headache
Peninsula Logic hosts and maintains websites for small businesses across Northern Michigan — Petoskey, Alanson, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Gaylord, Traverse City — on the same infrastructure we build our own software on: hardened Linux, monitored services, encrypted nightly backups, and a real human responsible for keeping it up. No reseller markup, no shared cPanel, no surprise outages.
Everything we run, everything we host. Same hardening playbook.
Outages get triaged within minutes — not hours.
Database + media + config to Linode Object Storage.
Cards, ACH, Apple Pay — plug into your site or pay invoices online.
Hosting Tiers
Plans scaled to what your site actually needs
Tier 1
Brochure Site
Static-first sites that load instantly and stay up.
- Up to ~10 pages of static HTML, images, and contact form
- Custom domain + SSL (managed automatically)
- Monitored uptime + nightly backups
- Shared, isolated tenancy on our hardened Linux host
- Edits / maintenance billed at the hourly rate
Setup fee: from $750 (one-time, depends on design and content)
Tier 1.5 · Most popular for brochure sites
Brochure + Care
Same as Brochure, with monthly edits handled for you.
- Everything in the Brochure tier
- 1 hour/month of edits — copy changes, image swaps, new sections, contact-form tweaks
- Unused hours roll over up to a 3-hour cap (good for quarterly content refreshes)
- Overflow billed at the standard hourly rate
- Priority response on hosting/uptime issues
Setup fee: from $750 (same as Brochure)
Tier 2
Custom App Site
Database-backed sites — bookings, accounts, billing, dashboards.
- Dedicated Linux server, sized to the app
- Django / Flask / Node app stack with PostgreSQL
- Stripe / Square / ACH payment integration available
- Same monitoring, backups, and hardening as our own apps
- Optional staging server for safe pre-production changes
Setup fee: quoted per project, scoped against the build estimate
Tier 3
Dedicated / Compliance
When PCI scope, HIPAA, or scale calls for isolated infrastructure.
- Single-tenant servers with private networking
- SIEM-ready logging (Wazuh integration available)
- Tokenized payment integrations to keep PCI scope minimal
- Documented runbooks + DR plan
- Optional 24/7 on-call routing
Setup fee: scoped during the discovery call
We host what we build
Same hardening playbook our own apps run on
Peninsula Logic doesn’t resell hosting. We run our own software — the Public Witnessing Scheduler, ElectraCalcIQ, SpoonForm, and this very site — on the same Linux hosts, the same nginx + Postgres stack, the same monitored systemd units, and the same encrypted off-site backups your site will use. When something breaks at 2 a.m., the person paged is the same person who built the platform.
Add-ons
Domains, server management, and ongoing site work
Domain Management
$35/year per domain
We handle registration, DNS, SSL renewal, and email forwarding so the domain just works. Includes annual renewal cost passthrough plus a flat management fee.
Server Management
From $50/month per server
Hardening, OS patching, monitored services, encrypted backups, and incident response on servers you already own. We treat your box like one of ours.
Site Builds & Maintenance
$125/hour, or monthly retainer
New page builds, content updates, design iterations, custom features, and ongoing maintenance. Hourly for ad-hoc work; retainer for predictable monthly support.
Online Payments
We accept cards, ACH, and Apple Pay — and we can wire that into your site too
Peninsula Logic invoices itself through Stripe, so paying us is a single click. The same pipes are available for client sites that need to accept payments — one-off, recurring, or partial — without taking on credit-card storage liability.
Step 1
15-minute scoping call
We talk through what the site needs to do, who uses it, and what tier fits.
Step 2
Written estimate
Setup fee + monthly hosting + any add-ons, in writing, before any work starts.
Step 3
Build, launch, maintain
First invoice covers setup; recurring hosting starts the day the site goes live.
